Dry, Chapped Lips?

Keep your lips healthy by exfoliating them weekly. Mix some honey and brown sugar, lightly scrub, rinse off and apply some lip balm. Lip balm heals, chapstick protects.

This will also make your lip glosses and lipstick last longer and look smoother.

Another tip…I always apply a lip balm before I start my makeup so that by the time I am done, my lips are moisturized and ready!

What About Your Neck?

Have you ever thought about giving your neck a facial? Neckial? Necial? Whatever you want to call it. 🙂

It’s cold and that means we are wearing scarves and turtlenecks. The fabric constantly rubbing against your skin can cause a build-up of dry skin. Wool is worst culprit.

Well, next time you are exfoliating your face (pm only), make sure you include your neck. Try this great scrub! Looking upward, keeping the skin taut, gently massage the neck for about 1 minute. This area is more delicate than the face so let the scrub do the work.

After, apply serums and grapeseed oil and you’re done!

I have always suggested that whatever you do to your face, you should do to your neck, chest and hands. If you haven’t been, now is the time to start!
