What? Celebrities aren’t experts??

Every time I turn around another celebrity is telling me how I should wash my face, color my hair, which vitamins to take, who to vote for, where to send my money, etc. It’s foolish and a waste of their celebrity. Personally, I wish they would just stay in my tv shows and movies and leave everything else alone. It seems like all the money they accumulate makes them a little dumb. (sorry if that seems harsh but these people are exhausting)

Here are some crazy things celebrities are doing and saying…

1. January Jones started taking placenta pills after giving birth last March. Guess what? Nutritionally, there is nothing to be gained from doing that. Yes it does contain iron but you can get that from plenty of other places.

2. Simon Cowell carries pocket-sized inhalable oxygen shots. Be careful! Large quantities of oxygen can actually be toxic, particularly in the lungs.

3. Elizabeth Muto (Miss Nevada and Miss Black USA)- She says that she cuts holes out of a large trash bag and wears it while she runs because it “detoxifies” her body. Seriously? How does that even work?? She will probably sweat more…

4. Pippa Middleton washes her hair in cold water to “close the pores and give it shine and lift.” Well, the thing is, your hair doesn’t have pores. Sorry Pippa.

I hope you enjoyed those as much as I did. I know that we all read things and learn things that we find out later may be wrong but the difference is, celebrities tell us this stuff as if they are facts. Like they have science on their side.

Your hair does not have pores. 🙂 Pores also do not open and close. They are what they are. I’m not sure why cold water on the scalp would give your hair shine?? 🙂

The scalp has pores is what I meant. Not actual dead hair! The cold water rinse just feels good- maybe it’s the cuticle or scalp or just not true!
